About Us
Equity School Travel was founded in April 1991, and is one of the best-established and largest independent tour operators in the UK. Our registered company number is 02598164.
We are experts with years of experience in organising School Tours, and we pride ourselves on the quality of our services, which is one of the main reasons Party Leaders book with us each year. We provide honest advice and are here to help with whatever you may need. In addition, Equity is fully ABTA bonded and has IATA and ATOL licences so any monies paid to us are completely secure.
With us you get free Equity Inspection Visits as we will make the bookings for you and help you plan your visit. You can stay in the hotel you have chosen for your group, meet the staff there, plan the excursions and investigate the resort. If you have a confirmed booking with us, we pay for your ferry crossing on the Dover/ Calais route, and if you would prefer to travel by rail or air we can make a contribution towards the cost. If you would like to visit a resort and hotel prior to confirming a booking with us, then the nominal price we charge will be deducted from your invoice after you confirm.
We are a full member of the School Travel Forum - a group of leading school tour operators who promote good practice and safety in school travel. All full members of the STF adhere to a rigorous code of practice and safety management standards which meet the requirements of DfES guidelines. These are externally verified each year by suitably qualified independent Health and Safety professionals.

We can supply you with a range of material to help you promote your tour including power point presentations, resort literature and other support material.
