Stella Plage
Just 4 kms south of Le Touquet, Stella Plage is a seaside resort with a wide sandy
beach and a number of shops, bars and cafés. It is an ideal centre especially for younger groups and is within easy reach
of the main attractions in this area.
Opal Coast France
So near, so different! The short journey time makes this delightful coast the perfect choice for British school parties, but it has much more to offer than mere convenience. The Opal Coast rejoices in miles of fine sand and rolling dunes, many attractive resorts and fishing villages and the historic war-scarred towns inland, which are full of interest and character.
This diversity makes the Opal Coast the perfect base for our study programmes and there is a fine array of excursions including visits to local artisans such as the hugely popular 'chocolaterie' and the 'boulangerie'.
Groups can visit Le Touquet, one of the main resorts in France, with a magnificent sandy beach, a wide promenade, and a fishing and yachting harbour. There is good shopping and a colourful country market. Le Touquet is an excursion in its own right but is also well located for all our educational visits.
Camiers, a small village just 7 kms from Etaples (an important fishing town where the traditional way of life has been maintained) is also an ideal position for all the principal visits on the Opal Coast.
Sample Itinerary - FRANCE
Day 1
Depart school by coach for late morning Dover-Calais ferry crossing. Continue to hotel for your evening meal (first meal). Travelling time Calais to resort: 1 hour approx.ach.
Day 2-3
We will arrange a programme of visits for you with free use of coach subject to driver's hours regulations.
Days 4
Travel to Calais with packed lunches for return journey. Optional stop at Hypermarket time permitting.
Extra Day
Make the most of your stay by adding an extra day. Price available on request.
