This small Tuscan city, immortalised for all time by the great artists, thinkers, and scientists of the Renaissance, is filled with priceless art treasures and historic monuments. Do not miss the Piazza della Signoria, with its replica sculptures of Michelangelo, Donatello and Cellini, the Ponte Vecchio, where Dante first saw his Beatrice, and the Uffizi, full of magnificent works by all the great masters.

Everything is an easy stroll and you can enjoy all the famous sights at the same time as the colourful cafés and beautiful shops. Leatherware, sculptures and reproduction paintings are all good value.

Sample Itinerary - Italy

8 days by EXPRESS COACH to Florence
Includes 2 overnight stops in Lido di Jesolo.
Day 1
Early departure from school for your Dover-Calais ferry crossing and travel overnight in your executive coach.
Day 2
Arrive in Lido di Jesolo for your evening meal (first meal). Travelling time from Calais to resort: 18 hours approx.
Day 3
Depart Lido di Jesolo after breakfast. Continue to your hotel in Florence (travelling time 4 hours approx.) We will arrange a programme of visits for you with free use of the coach subject to drivers' hours regulations.
Days 4-5
In Florence.
Day 6
Spend the morning exploring Florence before departing in the afternoon for Lido di Jesolo. Arrive for your evening meal and overnight accommodation.
Day 7
Depart Lido di Jesolo early afternoon. Travel overnight to Calais for return journey.
Day 8
Early morning ferry crossing and continue to school.

4 days by AIR to Florence
Day 1
Fly from London to Bologna or Pisa (flight time 2 hours). Transfer to your hotel. Transfer time 11/2 hours approx. evening meal (first meal) at a nearby restaurant.
Days 2-3
At leisure in your resort with choice of excursion programme. Coach not included but full details with prices will be sent at time of enquiry.
Day 4
Last meal breakfast. Transfer from your hotel to Bologna or Pisa airport for return flight to London.
Extra Day
Make the most of your visit by adding an extra day. Price available on request.
