Mpumalanga Tour South Africa

Mpumalanga means "Where the sun rises" and is the province in South Africa which was formerly known as the Eastern Transvaal. This tour is an experience of a lifetime.

Sample Itinerary - SOUTH AFRICA

8 days (5 nights) by AIR - Mpumalanga Tour
Inbound to and outbound from Johannesburg airport.
Day 1
Evening flight from London.
Day 2
Arrive in Johannesburg, where you will be met by your guide and transferred to Lesedi Cultural Village. Receive a traditional welcome and get to know the various cultures of the people of South Africa. Enjoy the atmosphere of the village and the fantastic cultural show! Dinner and overnight accommodation at the village.
Day 3
After breakfast begin your tour to the Kruger National Park. Enroute enjoy a stop at the small trout- fishing village of Dullstroom, and continue to the Kruger Park. Enter the park in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight accommodation at the Skukuza Camp.
Day 4
Have a wonderful day in the park with a game drive in an open top vehicle. In the afternoon some leisure time to enjoy the facilities of the camp including 3 swimming pools. Dinner and overnight accommodation at the Skukuza Camp.
Day 5
Another full day in the park with one game drive in an open game vehicle. Enjoy the magic of the African Bush. Dinner and overnight accommodation at the Skukuza Camp.
Day 6
After breakfast, check out and enjoy a short tour into the Panorama route, a scenic route travelling through the rugged mountain range of the Northern Drakensberg and offering magnificent views of the Lowveld. The most spectacular stretch of the Panorama Route is the Blyde River Canyon with a view of the 33 km long gorge, which includes Bourkes Luck Potholes, Gods Window and the Three Rondavels. A short stop at lunchtime at Pilgrims Rest gives you an opportunity to shop and enjoy the uniqueness of this small gold mining town. Continue your tour through to Pretoria and check into the Arcadia Hotel in the late afternoon. Evening meal and overnight accommodation.
Day 7
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and take a short tour of Pretoria to learn about this lovely city commonly known as the Jacaranda city. Continue to Gold Reef City for some fun. Gold Reef City is a re-creation of Johannesburg in its heyday. The atmosphere of the mining town as it was between 1900 and 1920 has been captured complete with horse drawn carts, can-can girls and minstrels. Among Gold Reef's many attractions are gold pouring demonstrations, gum boot dancing performances, a tour of the mine's 5th level - 220m below the surface (additional cost not included) and an adventure park with many rides (cost not included). Transfer to the airport for your flight home

Arrive early morning in London.
