Rosas
Situated on a beautiful crescent shaped bay, Rosas is just over the French border. It is a thriving community all year round and
a great centre for our Spanish Language Course, with it's wide range of hotels, restaurants, shops and tapas
bars as well as a weekly market. Rosas also boasts sites of antiquity, with a prehistoric dolmen, Greek ruins, an ancient Citadel, the remains of a Romanesque
monastery, and 18km of navigable canals with a fleet of boats for excursions.
Costa Brava Spain
Overlooking the sparkling blue Mediterranean, the rugged, ochre-coloured cliffs of the Costa Brava conceal hundreds of little bays and sandy coves. The weather is reliably sunny with an average annual temperature of 16ºC making it a great choice to visit either in spring or autumn, when it's not too hot.
Visit the exciting city of Barcelona, whilst still enjoying the more relaxed atmosphere of the towns and villages along the coast. Treat your group to a fun day out to one of Europe's most exciting theme parks, Port Aventura - experience the Dragon Khan rollercoaster with 8 inverted loops!
Enjoy the tourist capital of the Costa Brava, Lloret de Mar, with its attractive yet modern "medieval" castle. There are 5 magnificent main beaches and lots of small coves with wonderful views. Go to Tossa de Mar, one of the most popular yet unspoilt resorts on the Costa Brava, Tossa de Mar still retains a distinctly Spanish feel. Nestling in a beautiful bay, the town is watched over by the medieval remains and old quarter perched on the headland.
Sample Itinerary - Spain
Day 1
Depart school for your Dover-Calais ferry crossing and travel overnight in your executive coach, entering Spain at La Jonquera.
Day 2
Arrive at your hotel for the evening meal (first meal). Travelling time Calais to resort: 17-19 hours approx.
Days 3-5
We will arrange a programme of visits for you with free use of coach subject to drivers' hours regulations.
Day 6
Morning at leisure. Depart after a hot lunch for the overnight journey to Calais with a packed evening meal for your return journey.
Day 7
Early morning ferry crossing and continue to school.
Day 1
Fly from London to Barcelona/Girona (flight time 2 hours). Transfer to your hotel for evening meal (first meal). Transfer time 1-2 hours.
Days 2-4
At leisure in your resort with choice of excursion programme. Coach not included but full details with prices will be sent at time of enquiry.
Day 5
Transfer from your hotel to Barcelona/Girona airport for return flight to London.
Extra Day
