Sample Itinerary for School & College Tours to South Africa
9 days (6 nts) by AIR - Mpumalanga TOUR
Inbound to and outbound from Johannesburg airport.
Day 1
Depart London on your overnight flight to Johannesburg.
Day 2
Arrive early morning at OR Tambo Airport. Group will clear customs and board the coach for Hazyview. En route the group will stop in Dullstroom for lunch and a visit to the Birds of Prey Sanctuary. After the visit, coach will continue onto Hazyview and check into Hotel Numbi late afternoon for 2 nights.
Day 3
Full day panoramic tour, visiting Blyde River Canyon, Bourke's Luck Potholes, Gods Window, Three Rondawels and Long Tom Pass. Overnight Numbi Hotel.
Day 4
Early depart and enter Kruger National Park, for a full day game viewing in coach and overnight at Berg en Dal or Skukuza camp in the shared bungalows.
Day 5
Full day game viewing in the Kruger National Park with Game Rangers in open vehicles. Group will depart in the morning for a 3 hr drive, then return for lunch. Then in the afternoon, another 3 hour game drive. Overnight at Berg en Dal or Skukuza camp.
Day 6
Depart Kruger National Park for the drive to Pretoria which is an approximate 6 hours drive, stopping for lunch. Check in for 2 nights at Hoffanhein Guest Lodge.
Day 7
Full day excursion, which will include a township tour, a visit to the Apartheid Museum and finishing at Gold Reef City. After Gold Reef City return to Hoffanhein.
Day 8
Morning excursion to Lesedi Cultural Village. Afternoon visit to the De Wildt Cheetah Conservation project. Late afternoon transfer to Johannesburg International Airport.
Day 9
Arrive LHR early morning.
