Art & Design Excursions

  • Museum of Fine Arts - The Museum of Fine Arts was built in 1891 near the Imperial Palace to house the extensive collections of the imperial family. With its vast array of eminent works and the largest Bruegel collection in the world, it is considered one of the most eminent museums in the world.
  • Albertina - The Albertina not only has the largest and most valuable graphical collections in the world, with works such as Dürer’s “Hare” and Klimt's studies of women.
  • Belvedere - See Gustav Klimt's legendary painting “The Kiss” as well as major works by Schiele und Kokoschka for yourself. You’ll be delighted by the magnificent baroque palace complex and its extensive gardens.
  • Museum of Modern Art (MUMOK) - 300 characteristic items from the permanent collection, representing Pop Art, Fluxus, Nouveau Réalisme and Vienna Actionism, will be shown at MUMOK, the new dark-gray basalt building in Vienna's MuseumsQuartier.
