Geography Excursions
- Island of Brehat - The island is famous for its pink granite rocks, very mild micro-climate and Mediterranean vegetation, due to the warm Gulf Stream coming from across the Atlantic.
- Rance Dam - Built in the 1960's, the Rance Dam is the oldest and largest tidal power dam in the world. It uses the strength of the tides to produce electricity, making it a unique tidal power station.

- Conduct field study on coastal landscapes and landforms
- Experience tours of a tidal dam and power station which offer first hand investigation of coastal management in action
- Study and evaluate the impact of tourism on coastal landscapes
