History School & College Tours to Brittany
Brittany has a unique Celtic heritage with a quarter of its population still speaking Breton (similar to Welsh & Cornish). History groups will learn about the connection between this southwest French region and the UK whilst discovering the region's beautiful medieval towns. Walk around the history filled streets in charming Dinan and Fougères.
The famous city of St Malo was built as a fortified island in the middle ages to control the open sea. The city then became famous as a home for pirate-mariners and the birthplace of Robert Surcouf. Brittany is also home to the Mont St Michel, best known for the medieval Benedictine Abbey and steepled church. With so many educational visits in one of the most beautiful coastlines and forests of France, a study trip to Brittany will be unforgettable.
