Food for Thought School & College Tours to Normandy
Our Normandy Food for Thought Course has been developed to ensure that your students improve both their gastronomic skills and knowledge of the French language. France has a reputation of producing some of the world's finest cuisine and will enable your students to develop and understand where these foundations were cemented. Our Normandy Food for Thought course is based at the Château du Baffy in Courseulles, at the Gîte Bellevue in St Fraimbault or at the CPCV in Houlgate.
Château du Baffy, Normandy
Combine a stay at the Château du Baffy with our Food for Thought French course which includes visits to a Boulangerie, Goat's Cheese Farm, a Les Sables D'Anselles Biscuit factory and of course a local market. Groups will also take part in a cookery demonstration, enjoy a cheese evening as well as have the always popular snails and frogs legs tasting!

St. Fraimbault, Normandy
In St Fraimbault our course is based at the Gîte Bellevue. Our chef, Gregoire, is bi-lingual, having worked in London. He currently works in France as a chef and cookery instructor and has his own restaurant in St. Fraimbault. Recipes demonstrated will be based on local produce and include dishes such as local river trout in cider and cream sauce, Camembert and Nettle pie!

Houlgate, Normandy
In Houlgate our course is based at the CPCV. Demonstrations are given on fish and shellfish, the use of apples and a dessert of the region. Language assistance is provided for the demonstrations. Recipes demonstrated include Tarte Normande (apples), Limande Houlgataise (fish) and La Tergoule, a famous dessert from Houlgate.
