Sample Itinerary for School & College Tours to Normandy
5 days by COACH to Normandy
Day 1
Early departure from school by coach to catch the morning ferry from Dover to Calais. Continue to your hotel for your evening meal (first meal). Travelling time Calais to resort: 5 hours approx.
Time permitting, stop at Courseulles-Sur-Mer, a small town offering a large range of entertainments and sports, en route.
Day 2
We will arrange a programme of visits for you with free use of coach subject to driver's hours regulations.
Excursions: Mont St Michel and Château-Musée de Dinan.
Day 3
We will arrange a programme of visits for you with free use of coach subject to driver's hours regulations.
Excursions: a day trip to Rouen.
Day 4
We will arrange a programme of visits for you with free use of coach subject to driver's hours regulations.
Excursions: Bayeux Market and Zoo de Jurques.
Day 5
Time permitting, excursions: a trip to Arromanches, where yo can take your students to visit D-Day landings of World War II, the Mulberry Harbour and 360 circular cinema.
Travel to Calais with packed lunches for the return ferry to Dover.
Channel Crossings
We no longer include the crossing from Portsmouth to Caen or Cherbourg in our price. Please request a quote for the western route ferry sailings.
