History School & College Tours to Opal Coast

The proximity of the Opal Coast to both the UK and the World War I Battlefields make it a fantastic destination for history groups. Within the region, groups can visit the fascinating Samara, the largest French Archaeological site, and the Naours Caves, dug on the 9th century. The great diversity and quantity of visits make the Opal Coast a great destination for history school groups.

  • Samara - The biggest archeological site in France. You can see the reconstruction of a Neolithic village.
  • The Caves of Naours - Originally dug during the 9th Century to provide refuge during the Norman invasion. Extended over the years and growing into an underground city now lost to memories, these caves are not to be missed
