Explore some of the world’s top museums and galleries and to make the most of the educational value of each institution, why not take part in a guided visit. Most museums offer educational guided tours that focus on specific periods/artists allowing the pupils to further engage with their subject. Art & Design Excursions

  • Musée du Louvre - Opened to the public in 1793, The Louvre is now one of the greatest museums in the world where you can see the Mona Lisa amongst its great collection.
  • Musée de l’Orangerie - Small gallery packed with impressionist works by Monet and Cézanne to name but a few. The museum has oval rooms built to accommodate Monet's famous Waterlillies.
  • Centre Georges Pompidou - A multipurpose cultural centre housing an  impressive collection of modern art. 
  • Musée d'Orsay - This former railway station is now home to a large collection of Impressionist and Post Impressionist paintings by Monet, Renoir, Cézanne, Van Gogh and others.
  • Musée Rodin - The museum is Rodin's former house and gardens where you can now see his famous sculptures, including ‘The Thinker’ and ‘The Kiss’.
  • Musée Marmottan - Visit the Marmottan and observe the private collection of art historian Paul Marmottan, one of the best collections of Monet and Impressionist paintings in the world.
