Provence has a landscape filled with distinct contrasts and striking characters offering Geography students an outstanding range of excursions that will cover most itinerary requirements.
You will find alluvial plains by the river Rhone and the Camargue marsh will have students struggling to see the dividing line between land and sea. The region also has a wealth of grottos and gorges, the most famous being the breathtaking Verdon Gorge. School groups will also be able to first marvel and then do some field work in Provence’s mountain range, where the Pyrenees and the Alps meet.
