History School & College Tours to Hamburg
Hamburg has traditionally been a prosperous city since joining the Hanseatic League trading bloc in the Middle Ages and is today one of Germany’s wealthiest cities. The city had huge cultural importance after the World War II and the drawing of the Iron Curtain as it represented West Germany’s ideal of a “true city”. Groups will be inspired by the city’s rich mercantile history as well as by its protestant churches, namely St. Michaelis, Munich's main church.
