History School & College Tours to Munich
The city of Munich has had a turbulent past especially during the twentieth century. During the First World War, the Bavarian capital had to live with food and fuel shortages, consequence of the Allied blockade of Germany. The city was the centre of political unrest for the following years with the proclamation of the Bavarian Soviet Republic and the following republican government. Soon after Munich became a hub for right-wing politics and became the birth city of Nazism. Nearby Nuremburg will give students the opportunity to visit the Dachau Concentration Camp and the Nazi Party rallying Grounds. Both Munich and Nuremberg will offer an invaluable educational experience to history school groups.
