Food for Thought Study Courses in Rome
Our new Italian Food for Thought course in Rome is a great way to introduce your students to the rich culture and passion of Italian food. Roman food has its roots in the past and reflects the old traditions.
Our cookery demonstrations will take place in a popular restaurant in Rome, near Porta Maggiore. Roger, the owner will explain step by step the different stages and preparation of the various ingredients, whilst the chef creates the dishes. After the demonstration, the group will get the opportunity to sample the cuisine and the teachers will get a glass of famous Frascati wine. Groups can visit some of the wine cantines and vineyards, where they can taste the wine and some local products such as mozarella cheese, salami and of course pasta!
