  • Chora Church - The church is considered to be one of the most beautiful examples of a Byzantine church.
  • The Sultanahmet Mosque - Also  known as the Blue Mosque, is the central element of the complex built by Ahmed I (1603-1617) and was completed after the sultan's death in 1617
  • Green Mosque (Yesil Cami) - Imperial Ottoman Mosque in Bursa famed for its green tile decoration.
  • Yesil Turbe- Facing the Green Mosque in Bursa is the Green Mausoleum (Yesil Türbe) of Mehmet I, a domed octagonal building clad externally with the green tiles with which parts of the interior walls are still faced.
  • The Grand Mosque - Built at the end of the 14th century, the Ulu Cami is an interesting example of the period before the classical Ottoman architecture.
