History Tours
Our History tours are a major part of our ever growing educational tours program, covering all major historical events from the ancient to the modern. Taking students out of the classroom and in to the field to discover first hands the in depth information behind some of the world’s most historical events, allowing them better knowledge and understanding of the current subjects they are learning in the curriculum.
Visit the Battlefields of WWI in the Ypres & Somme, visit the graveyards of the brave soldiers of WWII in Normandy, travel to Italy to discover the ancient sites of Pompeii & Herculaneum, as well as many more in historical sites and excursions available in Berlin, Poland, Russia, America, Turkey & Germany. With our knowledgeable guides we have available, they will show you and open your eyes to the events that have taken place over the years.
Sample Itinerary -
Day 1
Depart school for your Dover-Calais ferry crossing and travel overnight in your executive coach.
Day 2
Arrive at your hotel for your evening meal (first meal).
Days 3-5
We will arrange a programme of visits for you with free use of coach subject to drivers' hours regulations.
Day 6
Morning at leisure. Travel overnight to Calais.
Day 7
Early morning ferry crossing and continue to school.
Day 1
Fly from London to Destination. Transfer to your hotel for evening meal (first meal).
Days 2-3
At leisure in your resort with choice of excursion programme. Coach not included but full details with prices will be sent at time of enquiry.
Day 4
Transfer from your hotel to airport for return flight to London.
Extra Day
Make the most of your visit by adding an extra day. Price available on request.
