West Side YMCA

The West Side YMCA Hostel is located just off Central Park West, close to the Lincoln Centre, Broadway and Carnegie Hall.
Location: Moments away from well-known landmarks including Central Park, Lincoln Centre and Broadway, public transport is within reach too.

A hotel situated in central Manhattan on 31st street, this hotel offers grand décor and welcoming reception. Located just a short walk from the Empire State building the Woltcott Hotel provides all the main amenities along with a shop and small meeting room.
Location: Short distance from public transport stops, Empire State Building 3 blocks away, numerous landmarks within easy reach.
Facilities: Small gym, small conference room, newsagents, luggage room, free Wi-Fi.
Accommodation: Single and double available for staff, students are accommodated mainly in triple rooms with individual beds. All rooms en-suite and have a TV.

Climb to the top of the Rockefeller centre and take in the dramatic and stunning panoramic views of New York City from the 259 metre high observation deck.
Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island
Discover the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Museum via ferry, where your students will enjoy magnificent close-up views of the Statue of Liberty and take in what was once the gateway for over 12 million immigrants to the United States whilst viewing mid and lower Manhattan from a different perspective.
9/11 memorial and museum
Observe the largest manmade waterfalls in North America, built in memorial to the events of 9/11. The twin reflecting pools are nearly an acre in size each and built into the footprint of where the iconic Twin Towers once stood. (There is a small administration charge for this excursion as advance visitor passes must be obtained. )
Discover the history of Macy's, one of America’s leading department stores, and learn about merchandise placement & marketing with a talk in the visitor centre followed by a tour of the store.
Walking tour of the financial district
Explore lower Manhattan with this scenic walking tour, in an area home to the New York Stock Exchange and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Empire State Building
Enjoy the spectacular views from the Empire State Building's 86th Floor Observation Deck.
Located in the Bronx and home to both the New York Yankees (a major league American baseball team) and New York City FC (an American major league soccer team), this stadium was re-built in 2006 and sits one block North of the original site, which is now a public park called Heritage Field.
