History school trips to Prague

History school trips to Prague

Overview

A stroll around the city streets offers the first glimpse at the varied history of Prague and with a compelling past there is a lot that can be learnt on a History school trip. A visit to Prague Castle, one of the world’s most stunning and frequently photographed monuments, will allow students to discover the vast number of palaces and churches in the surrounding area. The effects of war are glaringly obvious too in this city, from the Protestant Reformation to the Defenestration of Prague which was the catalyst for the 30-year war beginning in 1618. Show your students the aftermath of the revolt against the Habsburg rule, resulting in independence for Prague in 1918. With our unique History school trip to Prague, your students will be able to learn of the highs and lows that have shaped this country in to a leading European destination.
