We provide inspiring opportunities for drama students to experience some of the best live theatre in the world; with top actors, producers and writers – Broadway boasts talent and non-stop entertainment.

Drama in New York

At the Broadway Classroom, your students will be taught by a qualified teaching artist, who’ll give context to the show your group is seeing whilst focusing on the central tenets of theatre, creativity, collaboration and confidence. Our workshops offer the most comprehensive educational theatre curriculum on Broadway, developed in accordance with the National Standards for Arts Education. The workshops are held in theatrical rehearsal studios in the Times Square area.

NEW! Harlem Jazz or Gospel Workshop & Tour

Their jazz workshop is led by the saxophonist and saxophone designer from the movie “Friends with Benefits” featuring Justin Timberlake. Learn jazz theory with a basic understanding of chord changes and harmonies. Alternatively, learn to sing gospel, focussing on breathing, harmony, and control and voice placement.

Paley Centre for Media

Paley Centre for Media

Using programmes from the collection as a means of illustration and investigation, Paley Center Educators lead sessions on a wide range of subjects such as advertising, the documentary form, and the civil rights movement. Discussion-based classes are ninety minutes in length. They seek to build analytical thinking, viewing, and listening skills and attempt to provide insight into the roles television and radio play in our culture. Supporting educational materials for classroom use are available for most classes.
