In 2014 we rebranded, merging Equity with our sister companies: School Travel Service (STS), Pavilion Tours, UK Connection and SkiPlan. Our rebrand was more than just a new logo, it was a commitment to ‘enhance the lives of young people through experiences that inspire'.

24/7 Emergency Contact
We do as much as we can to ensure your trip goes to plan, but should you need to contact us whilst on your trip, a duty manager is available 24 hours a day/7 days a week on an emergency number, with full details of your tour, able to deal quickly and effectively with any problems you might have.
Financial Protection
The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 state that we must provide security for the money that you have paid for school trips booked with us. We do this through a bond held by the Civil Aviation Authority under ATOL number 2680. We are also a member of ABTA, number V5376. Below is further information about our financial protection and quality assurance.
Travel Regulation Insolvency Protection
Equity Inspiring Learning Limited is a company committed to customer satisfaction and consumer financial protection. We are therefore pleased to announce that, at no extra cost to you, and in accordance with ''The Package Travel, Package Tour Directive'' all passengers booking with Equity Inspiring Learning Limited are fully insured for the initial deposit, and subsequently the balance of monies paid as detailed in your booking confirmation form. The policy will also include repatriation if required, arising from the cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Equity Inspiring Learning Limited. This insurance has been arranged by Towergate Travel through HDI Global SE UK Ltd.
Claims
In the event of any incident likely to give rise to a claim, the lead name(s) and/or passenger(s) shall give immediate notification (but in no event later than 14 days) to the Claims Department at claims@affirmainsurance.com.
Policy exclusions: Please note that this policy will not cover any money paid for Travel Insurance or any claim relating to flights. Please ensure the tour company you have booked with has the appropriate CAA/ATOL bonds in place.
Safeguarding
Equity has a Safeguarding Policy and Procedure to help you understand how we look after the wellbeing of children and young people on our trips. It explains what our responsibilities are, our principles in enacting on our policy and how you can report any incident to our designated safeguarding officers. ABTA (no. V5376)
Equity is a member of ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents) which is dedicated to raising standards of quality, safety, service and financial security.
You can be sure that when you book with us all of your arrangements will be in the best hands and you are protected financially by our ABTA bond.
ATOL (no. 2680)
For your complete peace of mind the air tour and flights that are arranged by Equity are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. If you are abroad with your party and an airline fails, our ATOL bonding ensures that we will get you home as quickly as possible.
School Travel Forum
We are a member of the School Travel Forum (STF). Members of the STF adhere to a rigorous Code of Practice and Safety Management Standards that are extremely verified each year.
Teachers using an STF Assured Member can be secure knowing that their travel partner:

- Offers fair terms and condition, and the best financial security
- Fully inspected every year by independent expert
LOTC
The Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge is to help schools identify good quality and safe provision, and to reduce red tape when planning educational visits. It incorporates existing safety standards for all types of activity and combines learning and safety into one easily recognisable accreditation for all organisations providing learning outside the classroom experiences. Equity LOTC Badge Users of quality badged tour operators have the assurance that a provider delivers: Strict risk management processes across all areas of the business Robust safeguarding and child protection procedures Clear and accurate information given well in advance on services, amenities and costs Learning objectives of the activities on offer, and the flexibility to tailor activities according to groups’ needs Guidance and information on preparing pupils for the visit to maximise learning opportunities A culture of listening to schools’ feedback and working to meet their requirements The LOtC badge enables schools and youth groups to have confidence that the services offered provide maximum support and minimal paperwork.
IATA
Today, IATA's mission is to represent, lead and serve the airline industry. Its members comprise some 240 airlines - the world's leading passenger and cargo airlines among them - representing 84% of total air traffic. The IATA accreditation means that we are allowed to issue tickets on behalf of scheduled airlines.
