Equity School trips to Geneva

School trips to Geneva & CERN

As one of Europe's most globally-influential cities, Geneva in Switzerland is home to a broad spectrum of fascinating organisations, likely to inspire your students future career pathways, whether that be working in politics, business or exploring the field of science.

A must visit when on a school trip to Geneva, science and engineering students will be awe-struck, as buried 175m beneath the city's surface, leading to the neighbouring municipality of Meyrin, is CERN's Large Hadron Collider; a 27km ring that could unlock the secrets of our universe.

In central Geneva, budding artists can gain inspiration from over 3,000 artworks by Swiss and international artists at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art. If your group is focusing on international studies or politics, why not visit the European headquarters of the UN, or see where the Red Cross began and how it has become the global force it is today.

Located next to Europe’s largest Alpine lake; the awe-inspiring Lake Geneva, school trips to Geneva and CERN promise to encapsulate the hearts and minds of all students who visit this achingly beautiful area of Switzerland.
