School Trips to Brussels
Although Brussels is the de facto capital of the European Union, not all of the city’s excursions and attractions are completely serious or political.
Have you ever wondered what Europe would look like from a bird’s eye view? Wonder no more on a visit to Mini Europe, described as the best miniature park in Europe. Ever wondered why the Manneken Pis fountain sculpture (don't laugh) has been stolen seven times? Let your students learn about its significance to the city.
Of course, there is another side to Brussels. NATO and the European Parliament have their homes here, and there are over 100 museums dedicated to international culture, making school trips to Brussels the perfect option for Politics and History students.
On the other hand, paying a visit to the iconic Atomium will give budding scientists an in-depth view of how the atom works, while visiting the Planetarium will give you a view of the constellations like never before. Head on over on a day trip to the Euro Space Center in Libin and your students will experience what it’s like to be an astronaut for a day. For the motoring enthusiasts, a trip to Autoworld will quench the thirst with over 400 cars on display, as well as displaying a time-line outlining how motor manufacturing has changed over the years.
