Pizza Making

Pompeii

One of the world’s most striking archaeological sites, this ancient city was buried in 79 AD, following a series of eruptions by nearby Mount Vesuvius. Study the UNESCO-listed excavations, where you’ll find fossils, well-preserved ruins and the remnants of ancient lava flows.

Working farm

Visit this working farm for a fascinating demonstration of how olive oil and mozzarella cheese is produced. After the demonstration your group will have the chance to taste the cheese.

Pasta Making

Your students will have the chance to watch a pasta demonstration followed by sampling the pasta in the restaurant.

Vesuvius

Best known for its eruption in 79AD that left devastating effects on the cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum and has erupted many times since.

Verona is a beautiful town made famous by Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. It narrow cobbled streets are a delight to explore, and Juliet’s balcony is well worth a visit.

Sirmione

The castle of Sirmione (XIII century), equipped of towers and of walls Merlot, was a strategical base for the control of the lake. The famous Sirmionese castle is of Scaligera age and its dock - still in perfect state of conservation.

Bardolino

Encircled by vineyards and olive groves, wooded hills and cypress trees, Bardolino's atmosphere is distinctly Mediterranean. When the sun goes down the resort comes alive, the promenades are full of strollers enjoying the warm evening air and the cafés serve gargantuan ice creams.

Lake Tour

Lake Garda’s gentle climate is pleasant and comfortable for exploring nearby towns and villages. Malcesine in particular has a magnificent and famous castle that was built on Roman foundations and Lazes has stunning architecture including the church of San Nicolo.

The St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco), which was called "the drawing room of the world" by Musset, has been the centre of the religious and social life in the Venetian republic for almost one millennium.

Campo Santa Margherita Market

Like so many European squares, Campo Santa Margherita is named after the church that fronts it on one side, which was closed in 1810. Since then, the church has been used as a cinema and, most recently, an auditorium for the local university.

Rialto Market
