School trips to Valencia
Spain’s third largest city after Madrid and Barcelona, Valencia is a vibrant cultural centre. Visit the architecturally stunning City of the Arts and Sciences, including one of Europe’s largest aquariums, traditional arts museums and the UNESCO recognised La Lonja (Silk Exchange). The oldest part of the city is encircled by the River Turia and the Turia Gardens built on the former riverbed provides a 9km area of greenspace within the city – great for exploring and relaxing.
The city’s size allows it to be easily explored in a couple of days. However, if you wish to extend your tour, the area surrounding the city offers plenty of beautiful blue-flag beaches, ancient castles, Roman remains and traditional Spanish pueblos to explore.
