School Trips to Malham, Yorkshire
Nestled in the peaceful village of Malham in the stunning Yorkshire Dales, YHA Malham is a great option for school groups. This package offers a geography focussed trip, combined with team building challenges. Through YHA led activities, pupils can discover geocaching, map reading or perhaps try their hand at fossil casting. The location also offers opportunities for stream studies or a look at the impact of development. Seen in the Harry Potter films and used for training for the 1953 Everest Expedition, impressive Malham Cove is only 5 minutes' walk away. The 900-year old Skipton Castle is located 25 minutes away. Groups can mix and match 'Geography' activities with 'Discovery' activities, which are more team building focused, like the rope challenge, baking cookies or completing a mini-beast hunt! Typically 5 or 6 activities will be chosen to take part in throughout their stay (included in the price).
Itineraries will vary according to availability and what the group wish to do. This package is run in conjunction with YHA, one of our preferred partners. A full list of possible activities (included in the basic price) is available on request.
