Worldwide School Trips

If you're looking to travel further afield, at Equity we offer an array of worldwide destinations including China, Japan, Russia and South Africa. Students can discover the magnitude of the Great Wall of China or visit South Africa’s most iconic landmark – Table Mountain.

Home to the world’s oldest continuous civilisation and a truly diverse landscape, China is one of our most fascinating destinations for a school trip. There are many memorable sights to be seen in this vast country – from Tiananmen Square and the Great Wall of China to the incredible Terracotta Warriors.

From the mesmerising heights of Tokyo’s futuristic skyscrapers to the moving Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, students can fully immerse themselves into the intriguing aspects of Japan’s culture and history on one of our cross-curricular tours to Japan. We offer unforgettable educational tours to Tokyo, Hiroshima and Kyoto, which are all conveniently connected by one of the fastest rail networks in the world.

Modern day Russia is very different from the former Soviet Union and is full of surprises. Nowadays tours are much more relaxed, with free time to explore and go shopping. Moscow, the political and economic centre of Russia, is an impressive and fascinating city with a vast array of breath-taking structures such as the Kremlin, the Red Square and St Basil’s Cathedral. In addition, St Petersburg, founded by Peter the Great, stands proudly on the banks of the tranquil River Neva and is reputed to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Students can visit various iconic landmarks such as Yusupov Palace and Church of the Saviour on Spilled Blood.

On the other hand, take your students to the golden coastline of South Africa and discover the diversity of its people and landscape, also commonly referred to as the ‘Rainbow Nation’. Students can visit the multicoloured houses of the Malay Quarter of Cape Town and encounter a mixture of Malaysian, South African and Sri Lankan culture. History students can also visit the historic town of Soweto, once home to Nelson Mandela, which was at the centre of the anti-apartheid movement.
