Art & Design school trips to Rome

Rome is a beautiful city and offers several unique collections of Roman heritage as well as some surprising contemporary interest for Art & Design students on a school trip. Explore the Colosseum and other antiquities before heading to the National Gallery to give students the opportunity to investigate works by Goya, Renoir, Van Gogh, and Kandinsky. Allow plenty of time at the huge complex of the Vatican City. A highlight of your Rome trip will undoubtedly be the Sistine Chapel where students can imagine how Michelangelo suffered for four years on scaffolding to complete one of the world’s most recognisable pieces of art.
