Guided tour of Tokyo (day 1)

Spend a full day exploring the wonders of Japan. Visit Tokyo Sky Tree, the tallest structure in Japan and stop at Asakusa, where you can visit the ancient Buddhist Sensoji Temple. Learn the history of the Meiji Jungu Shrine, see Harajuku, the centre of Japan’s most extreme cultures and fashion styles. Enjoy Omotesando, home to some of the most amazing modern architecture and luxury shops. Visit one of Toyko’s most famous locations, the Shibuya Crossing.

Guided tour of Tokyo (day 2)

Take a full day tour of Tokyo where you can explore Tsukiji Outer Market, one of the world’s largest fish markets, enjoy a Sushi Making Experience and taste some for yourself before heading to the fascinating Miraikan National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, followed by some free time at Odaiba.

Mount Fuji & Hakone

See the celebrated Mount Fuji during a stop at its famous 5th Station, then take a laid-back boat cruise on beautiful Lake Ashi before touring Mount Komagatake’s ropeway and summit, offering amazing views of nearby Hakone National Park.

Fushimi Inari Shrine

Fushimi Inari Shrine is an important Shinto shrine in southern Kyoto. It is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates, which straddle a network of trails behind its main buildings.

Tour of Kyoto

Venture to Nijo Castle, a superficially deceptive structure what harbours a magnificent interior, see the tranquil Kiyomizu Temple amid its verdant surroundings, visit Ryoanji Temple, home of the most famous Zen rock garden, stroll amid the botanical beauty of Kinkaku-ji Temple and explore the Gion area on foot.

Tour of Nara

Explore Japan’s first permanent capital, Nara. A visit to the Todaiji Temple which houses Japan’s largest bronze Buddha is a must along with Nara Deer Park, which is home to hundreds of freely roaming deer.

Hiroshima

Visit Hiroshima station, the buzzing transport hub servicing the west of Japan, then on to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial, commonly called the Atomic Bomb Dome, part of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park which was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996.

Itsukushima Shrine

This magnificent floating shrine has more than 1400 years of history and is a registered World Heritage Site.

Miyamjima Ropeway

Miyajima Ropeway is the cable car and gondola system linking Miyajima township to Mount Misen.
