Alberg Pere Tarres

Alberg Pere Tarres is located just off the Avenida Diagonal in the Barcelona district of Les Corts.
Location: This relaxed hostel is close to the centre of Barcelona with the metro station of les Corts only 5 minutes' walk and 10 minutes' walk to the Camp Nou football stadium.
Facilities: Amenities include a communal terrace, kitchen and TV lounge, as well as table tennis. Meeting rooms and laundry facilities are available.
Accommodation: The colourful dorms and private rooms come with bunk beds, lockers and free Wi-Fi.

Urbany Hostel

The Urbany Hostel is a modern and friendly hostel, located in the heart of the city, close to the Sagrada Familia.
Location: Minutes away from the nearest metro station (Clot), and just a 10-minute walk from the beach, Urbany Hostel is a great base for your group.
Facilities: Facilities include a common room, guest kitchen, locker room, games room, on-site cafe-bar and rooftop terrace boasting spectacular views of downtown Barcelona.
Accommodation: . Single and twin rooms with en-suite bathroom facilities are available for staff and 4, 6 and 8 bed dorms with en-suite and facilities are available for students. All rooms are safe and secure with key card access and lockers.
Meals: A continental buffet breakfast, packed lunches and a guest kitchen are available.
BCN Sports Hostel

Recently refurbished, BCN Sports Hostel sits in the centre of Barcelona and is within walking distance to Gaudi's Casa Milá and Verdaguer Metro Station.
Location: Centre of Barcelona, walking distance from numerous public transport points.
Facilities: This vibrant and fun hostel offers a wealth of amenities for youth groups including a games room, various communal/lounge areas, an indoor swimming pool, sun terrace, shared kitchen and snack bar.
Accommodation: BCN Sports Hostel offers dormitory style rooms with bunk beds and lockers for storing your belongings. Sheets and blankets are included in the price, however, towels are provided at a supplement.
Meals: The hostel can offer a full board stay (continental breakfast, packed lunches or hot lunch and evening meal) with set menus.

Roma Reial
- Great choice on a budget
- Located in the Gothic Quarter
Roma Reial is a well-established hotel in the heart of Barcelona, ideal for school groups looking to explore the city.
Location: Located in the Plaza Reial, the hotel is a 100 metre walk from the nearest metro (Liceu), it is also only a short walk away from main tourist sights such as Las Ramblas, the Picasso Museum and the Boqueria Food Market.
Facilities: Facilities include a restaurant which features original stone archways and an outdoor terrace.
Accommodation: There are double, triple or quadruple rooms available which are all offer air conditioning, TV's and daily housekeeping.
Meals: The hotel offers a buffet breakfast and dinner is available upon request.

Subject Specific Excursions
Sagrada Família
The Sagrada Família, Antoni Gaudí's unfinished masterpiece, is one of Barcelona's most popular tourist attractions and important landmarks. You can visit the crypt where Gaudí is buried as well as the transept and central nave with its giant, tree-like pillars and spectacular vaulting. An elevator and a long climb will lead you to the top of a tower with magnificent views over Barcelona.
Montjuïc
Several thousand years ago, Iberic Celts settled on the Montjuïc, a 213 metre high hill southeast of Barcelona's city centre. It features a large number of attractions including the Spanish Village, the Magic Fountain and MNAC; one of the city's most important museums.
Parc Güell
Located in the city of Barcelona, the Park Guell is one of the most beautiful gardens in the world. Its creator Antoní Gaudí added his modernist works and influence to create a spectacular attraction which inspires all who visit.
Palau de la Música Catalana
Declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1997, this architectural masterpiece is located in the centre of Barcelona. The tour takes you on a journey through the stunning halls, stairways and auditoriums that have played host to exceptional musical concerts for over a hundred years.
Museu Picasso
The Picasso Museum in Barcelona is a key reference for understanding the formative years of Pablo Ruíz Picasso. Housed in 5 adjoining medieval palaces, the genius of the young artist is revealed through the 4,251 pieces that make up the permanent exhibition, the most complete collection of his works.
La Rambla
One of the best-known features of Barcelona, this magnificent mile-long boulevard was originally a mountain stream that ran alongside the 13th century second wall of the city. Flower stalls and street art line the pavement and many shops are located in the streets to each side.
