Subject Specific Excursions
Verona Opera (Jul-Aug)
In the early years of last century, the famous tenor from Verona, Giovanni Zenatello, sang an opera aria in the Arena for few friends who had gathered there by chance. They soon realized how good the acoustic was and decided to use it to perform a real opera. Between July and August you and your students could watch a spectacular opera staged within this 2000 year old Roman Amphitheatre.
Lake Garda boat trip
Take a boat trip around Lake Garda and explore this magnificent work of nature. The tour starts at one of the lake's idylic resorts and takes you on a leisurely cruise with spectacular scenery.
Malcesine Cable Car
For an outstanding view over Lake Garda there is nothing to beat a ride on the Malcesine cableway, which rises to 1,600m in just ten minutes and reaches an altitude of 1760m at the top of Monte Baldo. On a clear day you can see the whole of the lake, from Riva to Peschiera del Garda; a truly breathtaking panorama.
Mask Decorating (Venice)
A 2.5 hour workshop with a theoretical introduction to Venetian Masks and the unique opportunity to decorate and take home your own mask.
