Food technology in Valencia

Food Technology school trips to Valencia

What better place to study Food Technology than the home of paella! A school trip to Valencia wouldn’t be complete without a paella cookery workshop (the traditional version is chicken & rabbit with local beans), where you’ll learn the secrets to a sumptuous dish. Try Horchata, Valencia’s unique drink, made from local tigernuts - Valencia is the only place the tigernuts grows in Europe.

Visit the local orange groves that surround the city. Learn more about the properties of olive oil through a visit to a production plant, see the rich abundance of crops growing at the edge of the city, then stroll through Central Market with its colourful and varied produce on display.
