Geography school trips to Barcelona
An excellent tour destination for a Geography school trip, Barcelona is brimming with opportunities to explore human geography themes, and is surrounded by natural parks for physical geography excursions. Investigating the impact and sustainable legacy of the 1992 Olympic Games is a core topic for many, and one that links directly to the regeneration and re-branding that transformed the deprived inner city and port areas into thriving hubs. Students can climb Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia for a bird’s eye view of the city’s layout, then leave the urban area for a tour of Montserrat National Park to investigate the ecology and sustainability of this local mountain landscape. This unique and curriculum-relevant geography trip to Barcelona is a fantastic opportunity for enhancing your group’s geographical understanding in an iconic and cosmopolitan setting.
