The Gallivant

Subject Specific Excursions
Circle Line Cruise
Experience the grandeur of mid and lower Manhattan on the Semi-Circle Cruise. You’ll enjoy magnificent views of NYCs skyline and a close up of the Statue of Liberty. As you sail down the Hudson River, you will see the Battery; go up the East River and under the Brooklyn, Manhattan and Williamsburg Bridges all the way to the United Nations and back. 2 hour or a 75 minute cruise.
American Museum of Natural History
This is a fabulous, huge museum that is highly interactive and brilliant for kids of all ages. Learn about space, Dinosaurs, the Earth and the world underwater. See the world’s largest sapphire, 10,000 year old flint spears, and discover the history and future of food!

This private bus tour runs for approximately four hours and can be tailored specifically to meet your groups’ curriculum requirements.
9/11 Memorial Visitor Centre
See where the iconic Twin Towers once stood before they were attacked in 2001 by terrorists and 3,000 tragically lost their lives. The memorial’s twin reflecting pools are each nearly an acre in size and are the largest manmade waterfalls in North America. Each waterfall is built into the footprint of where the two towers stood. There is a small administration charge for this excursion as advance visitor passes must be obtained.
