Visit one of Brittany’s most elegant seaside resorts, home to luxury hotels and an 11th century church. This pretty town is the perfect place to practice your French, as well as appreciate the breath-taking views of Brittany’s jagged coastline.

Local Market in Dinan

The attractive town of Dinan is home to half-timbered houses, cobbled streets and a pretty port. Visit on market day and shop alongside the locals for cheeses, meats, flowers and souvenirs.

Ancient Port of St Malo

Experience this walled port city, home to beautiful buildings, yacht races and exceptionally high tides. Learn of the port’s romantic history and contemporary culture before exploring the narrow streets, museums and cafes.

Le Grand Aquarium, St Malo

Discover more than 6,000 underwater species, from piranhas to jelly fish, as you tour this aquarium’s nine themed areas. Dip your hand in the touching pool before walking through the underwater viewing tunnel to see sharks and giant turtles.

Mont Saint Michel

This 8th century monastic site is one of France’s most iconic landmarks. Surrounded by shifting sands, the granite island houses the towers and turrets of Mont Saint Michel abbey and its medieval streets are home to souvenir shops and atmospheric cafes.
